General
Cons for my foreseeable furtur are going to be sketchy at best.
So today i was given notice i gata find a new job soon.
I've got experience in:
programming in VB6 & API calls to operating system
basic calculus, trigonometry, geometry, first order mathematics, set theory, combinatorics etc
equation testing
cyclic redundancy checks
data compression theory
Siemens, Allen Bradley, Baummuller, Lenze, Baldor, Hitachi & other types of electric motor drives.
allen bradley plc's hardware side
siemens plc's hardware side
regenerative 4 quadrant dc drives
syncronism systems incl multi-motor
commissioning of AC & DC drives out of box
Drive tunning & calibration
Printing presses single web, Zirkons, Heidelbergs, Sanden, Hitachi (Goss)
Eltromat
WPC CLC's older & newer
ATS(Fellins) US-2000 tape banders - best guy in the building by far
Polar cutters 80's & 90's vintage
Stahl Folders
Machining experience in Milling & lathes ability to read & draw mechanical prints
Electrical trouble shooting related to plc's, sensors, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, general electrical, low voltage control systems,
Alarm & fire systems both very current digital & older systems dating back to pre 1900's (the old ones look badass! -Think Edison & Tesla style)
Os systems exposure & proficency:
Capable of software installation & at least basic networking
Major:
windows 7 5 of 5
windows xp 5 of 5
win 98 5 of 5
win 3.1 3 of 5
dos 3-6.2 5 of 5
os2 3 of 5
linux flavors 3 of 5
unix systems 3 of 5
qnx 2 of 5
Interests in:
upgrading difficult or antiquated equipment/repairs where other people say its simply not possible
computer programming Preferably visual basic 6 (hell ya it still runs faster than .net! & less waiting)
MCU's
FPGA's (haven't toyed with them yet)
PLC's
automated therom proving
eqaution testing
database systems
Writing VB programs for software based distributed computing (vs operating system based), centralized & decentralized
distributed computing (cross platform when necessary EG: Win-Linux)
long term projects
original code writing for Visual basic 6 (because it runs faster & shorter development times)
Renewable energy systems-
Solar (photovoltaics)& wind
Their respective control & management systems. Esp in regards to efficiency & cost.
Minor experience/exposure in/to:
Allen bradley plc programming
.net incl C# & vb.net
Ansi C (portable between os systems)
c++ (most of these languages i am fluent enough to read them to port operative code to Visual basic 6
MCU's
Will add ALOT more to this later
