Anime Milwaukee 2014' WIN (con report)& ***SNOWBOARDING****

So i had many reservations about finally make it to my first anime milwaukee despite not being able to or simply not getting my lazy fuzzy butt out to there. Pretty much all around the folks were cool there. was a pretty chillax atmosphere, the one night i was there i was like "wait hear that?" we dashed outa the room and the whole con was quite literaly howling(or at the very least yelling at the same time). This totally and completely blew my mind. Further it reminded me that before i found the wonderful furry fandom, i loved y anime's and this left me perplexed for the next hour or so. yes i come to the anime cons becuase they are 'simular' & accepting enough. but it really made me wonder which was my first love. I'd been watching anime music videos for years, Enjoying many fine animes from Inuyasha, Big O, outlaw star, full metal alchamest, dragaonball z (before it got wtf crazy) etc etc, Tenchi Muyo, various universes despite liking some more than others i did still enjoy them.
Anyhow all in all there was several pleasant surprises at AMKE2014. The peeps were pretty cools, i only talked to a few but ahhh were they good chats :) pretty much every last one left me thinking either "Shade you silly derp" or "omg i never thought of it that way" or "wow thats genius!" etc etc the various funny and quirky comments to folks getting or or waiting in elevators. shame i didn't have a camera becuase my memory simply doesn't do them justice.

Also after more than a years worth of deliberation with several furs. and semi spotty attendance, and input from various furs.
We've decided to have per Diem Furry Laff list meet. This Wensday (Tomarrow) Feb 2-19-14 at Alpine valley Hours likely to be 10am to 10PM Wens. I'l be ducking out sometime in the afternoon.
Amenities:
bar is enterance with ID over 21 only. But the cafeteria on the first floor is delicious! i've sampled most of their stuff. its fair to goods (unlike some places :) several delicious reasonably priced om noms in the $ to $$ range with a good sized menu of hot food etc to choose from (just ask for the burgers extra cooked- only thing). and if i remember right the resturant on the above floor also has a decent menu as well if ya fancy more than pizza corn dog hamburger, etc etc,
So prices: Mens (day only) ticket expires round 5:30-7pm ish ("if they call ya out on it") $29 lift ticket
rentals are seperate if ya need em. $27 So lift ticket & Snowboard or ski rental = $27(rental) & wensday mens rate $29 = $56 (+tax?)
Anyways to Keep it Breif. meetup there around 10 am tomarrow (~1hr travel time for most areas)
