Sure - The photo rig (main flash, bounce flash, softbox, etc) plus the high res camera we use take some really nice pictures. And then we can also use the green screen to give you an alternate background if you wish.

Oh, my. I will admit that the biggest reason I haven't been to FC in (way too many) years is the difficulty and expense of transportation. AC and MFF are a reasonable van-drive away. FC, not so much. All that photo equipment and Sammy's giant shipping trunk make things difficult. Also, I sort of planned to make these parties a one year splurge. Maybe Sammy will do something big for her 21'st ??

Sure thing! If you take pictures of people while they are in front of the flash rig, you will need to coordinate with Treads, our main photographer, when you get there. Biggest concern is double flashes and false triggering of slave flashes.

Correct, the raccutie, but I've updated her with a wonderful new dress. I'd bring my kimono too, but, I don't have the proper obi (sash) for it.
...Don't spose you know any decent places within short driving distance of the con that sell japanese clothing like kimonos and accessories~

I just asked a friend who really knows Japan and she said that there was nothing of high quality in that area. You might find something of middle quality near Chinatown, but that's a bit far. Mail order direct from Japan is your best bet -- there are several websites that cater to the cosplay trade. You really need the width and stiffness and accessories to make it work. I can connect you two together if you want to discuss it further.

That sounds like quite a delightful thing! I've had trouble finding a kimono that fits me as I'm a little on the taller side.
