wings vs hands in cartoon avians

It really depends on their intended purpose. If you have a character who is meant to be nothing but a a cartoon bird, who is "toony" only in the design and ability to talk, such as the Stork in different Looney Tunes cartoons, then wings are fine. But if you mean actual avian characters whose purpose is to be the central focus, then hands are preferred for the sake of clarity and ease of both recognition and animation. If Daffy or Donald had wings instead of arms, then they'd require a real character overhaul to make them not look out-of-place. I tend to lean toward hands, I suppose, for the rational that it's simpler character design and more cartoony in general. Though that only translates to your Donalds and Daffys- if you had birds meant to be birds, then they need wings.

That's your character, that is. As for you, I know less about, aside from the fact that you appear to be incredibly intelligent and sociable, and have that same appreciation for history that both my roommate and best friend are captivated by daily. It's astonishingly impressive, especially since my own interests that whip up that much fervor are a lot more trivial. Not to mention: you play a character who is loud, obnoxious, annoying, incessant, destructive, and could stand to shut up extremely well. :D

The Resident Evil Series

I know extremely little about it, having only played "Resident Evil: Outbreak" on my PS2 late one night and quitting after the first stage in frustration. I was later affirmed by review sites- a service whose existence I wasn't aware of at the time- that it was the worst game in the series, though I feel like that crown has been passed based on what I've heard on later releases. Though my only reference are the Two Best Friends Play videos, both in their playing of the games themselves and discussion on the horror genre in other videos. All I could tell you is what I've gleaned from them. Overall they don't look very appealing to me, however, so I guess that's my stake in the matter.

Zombies!

I'm a fan of them, though only a certain kind. A lot of effort has been put into reinventing the zombie's identity, as both a shuffling badass wall of flesh, or a tragic symbol of death and the perversion of fighting those we love. Both are valid and even interesting interpretations, but they're not for me. I prefer the idea of the low-level enemy, the faceless goon who values quantity over quality. There's something fun and horrifying about a good hoard- not a particularly violent one, but still shambling en masse. There's a good degree of challenge in the faceless mob. Picture Left 4 Dead without special infected and slower regular zombies, with more ammo preservation but only slightly nerfed guns- that's my ideal zombie game. Not meant to scare, but excite. Now THAT'S fun.

Tumblr as a whole?

In a word: Mixed. Or in another, eeeeeeh.

I enjoy Tumblr. I like the people and tags I follow, for the most part. It's presented me with an enormous multitude of hilarious images and useful sights, and I've even learned some cool stuff. But while I like what Tumblr shows me, I hate the people who present it. No offense to anyone, but is there anything on the internet that isn't the best thing ever? I'm fine with embellished reaction, but on literally everything? It's a tad much.

Here's a list of the stuff that tends to urk me:
-People who post TMI things openly in tags
-Conversation reblogging (having a series of points or whatever to scroll past)
-AJDASHFBSBFAOF;FNFE
-people who start to caps lock HALFWAY THROUGH A SENTENCE
-especially mid-wORD
-or in SHORT SENTENCES
-seeing the same reaction gifs and images over and over

Just... eeeeeh. Awesome material, annoying community. If Tumblr could calm itself just a little, I'd be more into it, but I find a lot of the people annoying. Plus the interface seems harder to operate than a 747 in flight and every post I've made has been inundated with spam likes and reblogs, so I tend to just enjoy it all in passing.

The decline of everything.

Hmm... not something I'm totally clued in on. The world always seems to be in some kind of decline, however, so part of me wants to say "overblown." Not in the finale sense; things may end and it will suck, but civilization will hardly collapse. It's like a poem my Medieval literature class went over says: "That has passed. This shall too." For the record, "Deor" has become one of my favorite pieces and that's the only reason I mention it. It's a sad state of affairs, but I guess we can take solace in the idea that it might be OK; we just always assume it'll suck.
