So how's everybody doing? My life has been so freaking busy with both school and taking care of my 3 month old daughter; and her beautiful mother. School has been working me to the skull and brain, to the point where I haven't been able to draw anything on paper in months! I am open for art trades, but at the same time, I have no time to do them. I have like.. 4 works in progress, none of which I think I'll finish, lol. No, it'll happen, just... eventually. My parents bought a house randomly, making my Fiancee and I move in with them otherwise the landlord would have hiked up rent.. So now Joie, me, and a 3 month old baby are sharing a single bedroom and a small room in the garage.. which is full of boxes.
Been living in this single room for just under a month now, and I already can't stand my parents to the point of not wanting to even talk to them. Don't tell someone that they have to learn how to co-habitate with everybody, then turn around and treat that person like absolute shite and blame them for everything that's wrong with the house (which is next to a major by-pass and railroad) that you impulsively bought. Not to mention their completely un-trained female calico who stares and hisses for no reason.. and who pissed on my daughter's playmat. And their dog who's ears are in such bad condition that he's deaf and doesn't let people go near them. Here's a lesson for people out there, even though I'm sure you already know; Don't get a pet of any kind if you think love and food is all they need. They need discipline and excersize; attention and respect. Not for you to scratch their chin when they hiss at you and feed them whenever their bowl is empty. Your pets are just gonna walk all over you and your guests if hat's how you treat them.
Anyways, ranting about my parents and living situation over. I'm almost done my schooling, only 6 months left and I will officially be an effects animator and modeller. It's hard freaking work, but it can run you anywhere from 500-10,000$ a week, depending on the importance of the title. Once I'm done schooling I'll be taking character modeling commissions, so y'all can see what your fursona looks like outside of the 2-dimensional barrier. Commissions will run anywhere from 30-100$, depending on how realistic you would like it (And the program you would like your character modeled in, and will be submitted with a full turnaround and/or pose (rigging will cost extra, 'cause I have to get a friend to do it.) of your choice. The 3D world is so freaking exciting and full of variety (both people and projects!). Obviously I'm not expecting to leave school and get a great job right away. In fact, I doubt I'll get a job for a good 5-6 months. But until then, I can put my stuff online and practice.
But for right now, I'm working my ass off, so tired that my ass feels like it's fallen off, and getting so stoned that I can't stop laughing my ass off. So I can't even half-ass things that don't have to do with family or school, due to my lack of remaining ass to fall off. Peace, Love, and Pot!
