Well she's been experiencing some unusual pains lately. It turns out she needed her appendix removed.

Not to alarm you or anything, but it's a very good thing that the hospital had her appendix removed. ..a ruptured appendix is bad. Sounds like your mom had an acute appendicitis.

Anyways, I'm glad your mom is ok and going to be fine. (Gosh the journal title got me all scared Dx )
