Told you guys I'd be alright!
so, had an uneventful procedure, thankfully. they went in through the radial artery on my right wrist this time instead of the groin. Thankfully I'm a lefty, so I'm not fubar'd for the next few days. It does mean I gotta have a couple days rest and no heavy lifting, but other than that I'm fine.
Let me tell ya, though, having a balloon inflated in a major coronary artery HURTS. I was so glad when they pumped the drugs in. They had to inflate again because they spotted a second spot in one of the smaller arteries next to it, but they didn't have to put in a stent for that one, thankfully.
Anyways, I'm gonna be takin it easy for the rest of the day. Thanks for all the support, everyone. It really does wonders when you know you've got people rootin for ya

The inflation probably feels similar to a heart attack, I would guess. Personally I'd ask them to knock me out for it.. But I'm a reaaaally big wuss when it comes to pain.
Is that something they do while you're conscious? o.O

Never had an instrument snaking through my vessels in that fashion, but glad it was numbed out from the potential pain you experienced. The closest I had was being a guinea pig for my med friend's stick lab. FYI, make sure you are good friends before doing the procedure. Blood drawing done by a first timer... hmm... lots of swearing could be involved. ^^;
Have at those salads Strype. Maybe the doctors can allow some bacon bits in there.
