Going to stay active here? Any reason particularly liking it?

I may or may not stay active on FA.

I really like the site's interface, and the coding is a lot more up-to-date. Community features are also pretty impressive.

The people who run it are competent, clear in their guidelines, and have not covered for their zoophile friends or tried to convince a rape victim from coming forward because the culprit happened to be a popular artist.

.. so largely because of site politics and biases? Sorry, not meaning to be crass, just curious about weasyl and the flood of journals about it.

There's a mixture of the two, really. I've been hoping to find a good alternative to FA and DA for a long while, and I really like the design and features.

The management aspect affects the users, man. FA's coding is woefully out of date, and every time a security hole is pointed out, no actions are put towards fixing it, etc.

I agree on the second part there. How long have we been waiting for folders and the like? If the transition and exodus occurs to something bigger and better, I'll move. Just been keen on finding out more before donating. Granted, $5 is chicken feed, so...
