welp....found out what was making that loud clicking noise whenever the computer was at idle. that or like malaka once told me: "windows 7 a timebomb waiting to go off." im thinking its a bit of both. guess thats what i get for not going ahead and buying me drives like i said i was. But on the bright side, other than a few directories and some character write ups, most of my other stuff is on another hard drive. so i didnt lose much. hopefully i can retrieve most of the stuff from that drive though. Anyways, back to reinstalling everything XD

Aggggh, i hate that. I've had to do it several times mahself. I keep everything in two places for that exact reason now. Good luck though.

yeah, i see thats one of the only ways to prevent major headaches when the main drive decides it wants to wet itself. just gotta go on and get these drives i was planning to get incase this one suffers from the same thing

yeah, sept this sounded like a capacitor blowing on a PSU or graphics card. it would do it evey time te computer went to sleep or ran for a long period of time. i guess it finally clocked out on me

reformatted the drive only to find out it was one of my sata drives kicking the bucket. so now i have a extra hard drive to boot from just in case.
