the lovely ladies in my family tree.
I get my meds back in less than a week, THANK GOD. it's been an awful few months. I don't even have money to put my halloween costume together. but. this gave me a big smile.
second from the right is my grandma eloise. i take after her. why was 1951 so glamorous? i know it had its issues, but damn, every photo i see is just like, LOOK HOW AWESOME WE LOOK. haha.
from L-R my great aunt bonnie, aunt wanda, my grandma eloise, and my great aunt merrill at age FIFTEEN (OMG) (who shared the picture with me on facebook — yay for old ladies with computer skills!). my dad's side of the family is like nonexistent, but my mom's side of the family seems only to produce girls, weirdly. lol.
if you have any photos from your family tree, please share them. i'd love to see.
xoxo

I only had one photo in my high school yearbook cause they ambushed me during a presentation
Then again all the photos you do see me in its either super fake smile, not happy looking blank face orrr skateboarding which I just look odd cause of how my body moves
And congratulations on getting your meds back. You don't even want to hear the horror story about what happened when I got off mine. The doctor confirmed that they weren't high enough doses or the types of meds to cause dependence, so basically I'm just a bloody wreck when I'm not on them.
Off my meds for the past four months it's just been... sad. I can't motivate myself to get out of bed, eat breakfast, do laundry, tidy up, work, do anything. I really thought I could at least get back to the point I was at before I got ON them, but clearly I was worse off than I thought. When I see my psychiatrist she's probably going to freak out the moment I walk in the door. She's good. She will probably be able to tell me everything that's fallen by the wayside since I went off my meds without me even telling her. But I guess that's why it's a comfort--I have a good psychiatrist that I trust, so. I'm glad this period is almost over. I'm really grateful that my clients on FA have been so, so understanding. I'm a mess without my meds. >.< On them, I'm superwoman, but without them... yeesh. >.<
Yeah, being in the same boat just makes me appreciate it all the more when people I admire are even able to exist semi-normally without them, especially when they can do what they normally do.
Yeah, the 50's were great times. Maybe not so great for some, but, in general, a very good part of history.
I'm not into that photo's, dont wanna see pics where my parents say like "Awww were you cute", well "Am I not cute anymore" I think then.
I always get sad if I see the old photos, we lived in a bigger house with a wonderful garden and now we live in one of the main streets in the village with a crappy garden, where the neighbours took over.
Well.. good old times...
Regardless, it's always cool to see photos of relatives like this :3
I'd say its way past time to bring style and class BACK. =)
Nice photo, HD
