Drawing is meant to be fun.. if you find it harder, try do something you enjoyed.
If you don't enjoy it, try do something different..thats what I did.
When I was trying to get better in one style, I got furisated and not enjoyed it. Couple of weeks later...i started to drawing, knowing it won't be perfect, and..I enjoyed it.
Remember, your imagination matters, not the skill - when its nice to have skill, its there to improving when you let your imagination go wild and start drawing. That's what I did, and my skill builds over time...
Well, if you want to improve then you should stop drawing the same thing over and over and over and over and.....um, yeah.
I think the problem is that you've drawn the same lion cub face like 20 times over and you can't better yourself if you draw the same exact thing, man.
Did you try that tutorial I gave you? I found it helpful to me.
My tip would be to check out tutorials, study real pictures, and sketch the basics loosely and build up, if you get what I mean... and stuff. And never to be afraid to use reference :] as long as credit/permission is given.
