This year's FF was quite a rollercoaster. Started out good when we got there safe and nice and early and everyone was actually preregistered this year! Then took a nosedive when I looked for the story I had truly believed had been accepted for the conbook...and didn't find it. Guess that email full of praise was just a general one and next time I should just ask and not assume. Then things went right back up again as my best friend  aurilyn won Attendee Guest of Honor this year, so awesome the Shuri's Furries Pack is gaining fame if not fortune! We were very lucky to have  okidoki visit our con this year, and who almost had to stay much longer than originally intended due to the HURRICANE that cut our own visit short this year. We didn't get as much face time with the coyote or his wife Askari as we wanted, it's hard to pin those two crazy furs down! Many other friends were missing this year too, it seemed. Unless you were all hiding under the bed...nm. Next year, we will try to do more things like the masquerade and perhaps try for artist ally again, since there were way more hours of nothing to do than was healthy (I mean that, I ate way too much candy!). Another plus, we discovered the Friendly's down the road, only took 3 years, and I'm happy to add lemon chicken to the very short list of foods  shuri will eat. Unfortunately our halloween costumes didn't pan out this year, Shuri's was too awkward due to fursuit compatibility issues and mine due to the fact that flashing in public is frowned on. Would have been fine if not for that.

So yeah, rollercoaster. Now back to real life, bleh. Gotta love that post-con depression. Oh well, can always work on a plan to get myself or Boewin elected for next year's AGOH, muahaha!
