how do you get it to continue to record without it stopping every few seconds? I dont know why, but when I make a vid, it only last for a few seconds and then it stops........why? I know last time I did that, it lasted for a good 2 or 3 minutes before it stopped without warning. Just want to know if Im doing something wrong.
Sorry, no help for meh. I can't get mine to last longer than a minute.
Could be a lot of things.. thou I did think the demo version of fraps had a limit? I've never used the demo of it.
If you really want something to make movies with, buy the full version. You won't be disappointed.
The only function that *should*, under any circumstances, run for a set period of time then stop automatically, is the benchmark function. You sure you're hitting the video key and not the bench key?
I had a problem a while ago where whenever I tried to record video with it, Fraps would crash. Dunno if it's related.
I just recorded a few movies while playing Frets on Fire last night (see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W2IpNzaFIaE), and the only problem I encountered was that on some of them the video and audio were out-of-sync.
