aww, really? thanks. x3 it doesnt even have to be like.. really good or anything, i just need to get the hang of using it. i dont have much experience with that other than what i know already about shading and stuff..

i could help, but it depends on what kind of Photoshop you have. I've only used Photoshop Elements, so I don't know how others work.

I use the pen tool...for almost everything in terms of shading. I don't think others would want to do that though.

yeah, i shade with that and then smudge for a softer look. :P i always thought you had a special brush or something. xD your coloring's amazing.

Actually my shading consist of the pen tool and gaussian blur. It's a very time consuming process when you first try it but after a while it kinda grows on you. I even use the pen tool to select areas. Guess I'm addicted to the pen tool.

i'm not familliar with the gaussian blur technique. xD

It's mostly a thing of taste.
