No Midwest Furfest for Me

I cannot make the trip to MFF as planned, as after a few additional expenses have been dropped on me, I do not have any reserves to make the trip. I will not be traveling anywhere for at least the next 3 months, unless for a job interview.
It is no exaggeration to say that I am in serious financial trouble and I am in danger of being swallowed up by an avalanche that I can no longer outrun. I am having problems even coming up with rent money, let alone anything else. Being in a position where I need to worry about these things almost constantly is a new experience for me, and one I hope I find myself never having to repeat.
My fingers are crossed for callbacks from some of my job applications.
Time to hock that coin collection.
