Just watched this one on netflicks a few hours ago. I was not expecting too much as well you know how it goes with these types of "cartoons" often writen for those under four years old. I was pleasantly surprised however as this movie is very well done with fleshed out and strong characters. A very well writen plot and surporting characters as well as songs that are well placed and not too cheesy. Standard animals can talk too each other but only understand humans type of video. In my humble opinion this tale is much better then any thing Disney currently has out because Disney tales to me often seem fake as if they all exist on some movie backlot even tho they are animated the characters in a Disney film never face any real danger. Jock the hero however seems very much as if set in a "real" world.

Well there are humans in this movie the main character is Jock the dog. Other talking animals are as follows...Jocks mother and litter mates, a poodle, a rooster side kick, a dog that looks a bit like an Irish wolf hound and two monkeys.
