MLP: iPads are Magic
So, I downloaded the iOS MLP:FiM game last night.
It's so awesome! Nearly all the VAs are present (I say that because not all of the characters talk), the characters are accurate 3D models, and they named several BG ponies many of which used Fandom names!
Except Dr. Whooves for obvious reasons. He's officially called Time Turner which still fits in a sense.
So, including TT, we've got:
Lyra (with the last name of Heartstrings)
Octavia (I can't afford her yet so I don't know if a last name exists)
DJ PON-3 (That's how it's spelled!) /)^3^(\
Jeff "The Dude" Letrotski and Jesus Pezuna from The Big Lebowski parody! They even have the bowling alley as an in-game stall.
and Magnum. The tourist with the Hawaiian shirt, straw hat and mustache which I assume is supposed to resemble Magnum PI.
The game is a "Village building" type where you start with one building, build money generating stalls, and increase your population. The population being the residents of Ponyville. Some can only be obtained through quests. Namely the Mane Six.
The "plot" revolves around the Season 1 two-parter where Nightmare Moon has plunged most of Equestria into darkness (land you can buy with Bits) and it's up to Twilight Sparkle to bring the residents of Ponyville back while locating pieces of the Elements of Harmony to be reformed at the six "shrines". The pieces are found when collecting from stalls and additional pieces can be exchanged for bits. The characters have 5 "levels" represented by stars that you increase by playing with them and completing a minigame.
Each stall requires a pony to "work" there in order for income to be generated. Some require a pony to have more than one star in order to use the second, higher paying (and longer wait time) task. Others use a third to increase profit.
Oh, and Derpy makes an NPC appearance as a Pony-in-the-box but cannot be added as a citizen. Luna is also purchasable, but I don't know how that would affect the story.

Supposedly there's an android version on the way.
