Hey guys Here again with another big update. This time MFF is just around the corner and we have a few time changes to an event as well as solidified times for other things!
So please pay attention and mark everything down if you plan on attending!



II - Midwest FurFest Info


*** MFF is coming up in about two weeks, so everyone should prepare their schedules to get around to these events. Exact timing and scheduling info has been released so that will now be included!


- Dance Competition: It's comin back for another year! Under the guidance of JD and Theome this is sure to be one of the biggest events at the con. Good luck to all those trying out and to any spectators please record and post the event! It really is great to see stuff from many different angles and camera types. All info about this panel can be found HERE.

* This panel's prelims will be taking place FRIDAY at 8:00 PM in the LAX AB room(s).
* This panel's opening choreography lesson will be taking place SATURDAY at 8:00PM in the LAX AB room(s).
* This panel's finals will be taking place SUNDAY at 1:00 PM in the GRAND EFGH room(s).


- LFO Presents: Floor Wars: Last-Fur-One's successful Floor Wars panel is now going to be held at MFF as well! However there's a new twist! There will be two divisions! Fursuit and Non-Fursuit categories. The sign ups are indeed currently filled. However, you may still sign up incase there are missing people and take their spots, so if you're going to MFF and want to battle some people be sure to head over to LFO's Sign-Up Journal for exact details on what to do!

This competition is pretty big already even after only being held for the first time a few months ago! So it's highly encouraged that everyone attend for a really good show!


* This panel will be taking place SATURDAY at 4:30 PM in the GRAND ABC room(s).


AGAIN THAT TIME IS NOW 4:30 PM! Competitors make sure you show up about 15 minutes early!

- DancerFurs Cypher: Although once again not on the official schedule, I plan to have one of these run sometime during MFF as well! So stop on by even if just for a bit and join in on the fun.

* The time will be FRIDAY from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm in the Lobby of the Main Floor. (You should be able to just hear music if you don't see us. So just be on the listen for that)


- Last-Fur-One Workshop: Returning for another year, LFO will be showing up once more to share with you knowledge and skill :D Just stop on by and get to learning!

* This panel will be taking place FRIDAY at 4:00 pm in the ROSEMONT B room.

III: OED Dance Competition for a Free Fursuit

*** is holding a competition for dancers of all types to show there stuff for the grand prize of a Partial Suit made by her. I'm really excited for this event and I'm sure many of you are as well. I mean how many chances do you get to win a free fursuit? Not many to my knowledge :P

The competition is open! So if you are interested please head over to her website: http://www.oneeyeddoe.com/oed-dance.....mpetition-2012 and check out all the info there. Everything you need to know is going to be laid out. Entries will be accepted once the competition is open.

This competition will not be held via FurAffinity, but through her own personal website.

She would greatly appreciate it if you all spread the word about it as well though. She's looking for more dancers to dance in her suits! So the more competitors the merrier!

- Side notes:

* You can compete in or out of suit, it doesn't matter if you already have one or don't.

* There is a strict 1:30 time limit on the amount of time you have to dance. You can do less, but no more than this. You also have 30 seconds to introduce and say something about yourself, totaling for a 2:00 video. Be sure not to go over the dance limit. (this is listed wrong on the website at the moment, but this is the confirmed time limit.)

* If you have any troubles with your entry slot or putting your video in your slot, just send her a quick email about it and she should be able to resolve things quickly!

* There's also two public poll prizes for the public to vote on! So that's three different sets of prizes you can win by competing! *The grand prize winner is void from winning either of these slots*
