What's this Mass Effect Big Bang thing?

It's a big collaborative project. Fanfic writers push themselves to write something that meets a minimum word count. In this case the minimum was only 8,000... but many big bangs have a limit of 10,000 or 20,000. And lots of authors go way past that. Anyway, all the authors put up their summaries anonymously and artists got to sign up to do a collaboration with the authors they bid for.
I was also a volunteer to be on the "unclaimed list" since there were more authors than artists, so I ended up doing four art collabs!
Then a while later after the artist and author have spent time collaborating, together they post their story/art on a particular date.
