I decided to write today, and here's what I wrote:
So'z, it's been a while since I've posted a fancy journal I suppose.
So I'mma do a game recommendation. That game's name is Don't Starve, and you can find info on it here: https://www.dontstarvegame.com
VERY amusing Minecraft-alike, but unique in its own ways as well. LOVE the art style, really like the gameplay, and I'm currently addicted to it. x3 My record so far is 34 days survived. Low number compared to some other people, but gimmie a minute and I'll tell you why.
First though, lemmie tell you this game is $12 on Steam, and that's the price for TWO copies. Not one, TWO! (There currently is no "Buy only one copy" option. So make sure you have a friend to give a copy to.) It's definitely worth it, the people working on this are doing a great job, and they even put an in-game notifier of updates coming soon. You do of course have to look around for what these updates will be on the forums, but that's not too hard to do. Fishing and Character Specialties are coming to the next update, along with some other goodies.
There's also a free demo on the website, in the Chrome store I think... So, y'know... Get Chrome, give the game a try.
Anyways! My record is low because of trees. Y'know those trees that you see around, made of wood and such? Yeah, those trees. Well, you can chop down trees in this game, and eeeevery once in a while you'll get another tree that just doesn't like that. And these trees aren't just ordinary trees, they're Tree Guardians. So y'know what they do? They stand up, walk after you with a slow pace, and then if they catch you, they kill you in TWO hits if you have no armor. I've died FOUR times in the game, and ALL FOUR TIMES have been because of one (or more) of those trees showing up to ruin my day. So consider this your warning to be wary of trees if you decide to look into this game.
