I don't know how long it will be before anybody reads this, but my page looks super boring and empty, so I figure I'll write a little journal to introduce myself. Hello! I'm Wei, the Waitoreke. What is a Waitoreke you ask? It's something of a mythological otter creature. They exist mostly as a piece of Maori lore, and since I live and study in New Zealand, I happen to be kinda fascinated with Maori... everything.
I am a ghost and I like to keep it that way, but that doesn't mean I won't talk to you or hope for arts! ...I've never been drawn before, and I really want that to change. Will you draw me a 30 second icon?
Here's a description!
Standing at a modest 154 centimeters, Wei is nothing short of breathtaking. With a long, thin, fit musculature designed with maneuverability in the water at its core, she is the consummate athlete. With a face slightly rounder than a typical otter, she has a jawline that speaks to the natural strength that she possesses which her otter brethren do not (some would call her face almost feline in composure), and deep blue eyes which maintain her femininity. Her coat is a sleek dark brown, and her back is spotted in white, much like the pelt of a baby deer. Her left thigh, and right bicep are dyed-tattooed with traditional maori ornamentation, and she has a maori sun tattooed where her tail meets her back, also in white. She enjoys climbing almost as much as she enjoys swimming; Her favorite activity is cliff diving. Favorite color is yellow. Enjoys dressing in Polynesian/Hawaiian luau garb, but equally enjoys being tomboyish in public. Most often found in a bikini.
I like boys and girls equally, and am an extremely visual person... too bad I can't draw worth a damn or I'd have art here! I will probably upload some of my writing though, so that I can at least feel like I'm contributing.
