Best Books I have EVER Read
So at my place of employment I have a LOT of time to read. And my best friend Jolie recommended "The Five People You Meet in Heaven" by Mitch Albom...it was one of the best books I have ever read and I am not exaggerating.
The book is about an old man who meets his death during a freak accident at work. It tells you about the journey to heaven. Basically there are five people within his life that he had changed their lives forever, or they had changed his. And they are all waiting for him in heaven to help him ascend. It was phenomenal. It was such an amazing and inspiring book. I read it in a day, and then my mom read it the next day, then my grandmother read it the next day.
After that I went to Barns & Nobles and bought two of his other books. “Tuesdays with Morrie”. I am reading that one now. It’s based on real events from Mitch Albom’s life and his dying college professor. Morrie teaches Mitch the lessons that we should know from life, but have sadly forgotten.
But MOST of all. I read “For One More Day” yesterday. My God, I cried like a fool when I read it. It’s about a man who has hit rock bottom after his mother passes on, and he tries to commit suicide. Have you ever lost someone, and just wanted one more day with them? Well this man gets one more day with his mother, and he learns the unknown sacrifices that our parents make for us, and the struggles they go through to make us happy. After I read it I immediately called my mother and told her love her.
His books are so incredibly inspiring, and they teach you lessons that you can never forget. Truly if you want something to read, please Read Mitch Albom’s books. They will change the way you think.
