So i just got back from Duke medical. I don`t think that's what its called, but duke is in the name. I went there for basic stuff, until they said i need to go to labs (Blood work). I almost had a panic attack when she said that. I am extremely Belonephobic, or Trypanophobic, whatever you prefer. What makes this even worse that that it is next to impossible to to locate the veins in my arms to get blood for some reason. Past times i`ve went they would just be digging around in my arm looking for my veins saying ''I`m sorry. Does this hurt?'' And every time i try to hold back yelling FUCKING YES! But the plebotomist that i went to seemed awesome right off that bat (I think his name was Raji). He looked for the veins in my arms first (which, some one has only done once before believe it or not). And he said hes been doing it for a good 52 years. And what did he do when he couldn't find the veins in my arms? He put a hot bag of water on my hands and waited (It does the opposite of putting ice on a wound, it draws out the blood, it also numbs it). I was feeling much better than i usually am until i found out he had to fill 6 vials. So i guess all together, everything went better than expected.
