The key is in our hands and it's recorded with the courts. We are now officially home owners.

For me, this is a moment of great catharsis. After brutally losing my beloved family home to pay off massive debt left by my mother after her suicide, I am finally going to be able to put the past to rest in it's grave and move forward into our new beautiful, sunny little 1926 single-family home.

We're looking at some floor samples today to get hardwood placed in the living room and fresh carpet in the bedroom. Then we can set up a time for the movers to come and get all our boxes!

I can finally say I'm going home. <3
