Bioxz wants your opinion on something:

So, as you may have noticed lately, I've been getting a lot of commissioned artwork done. Not surprising, as I've just been to two cons in a row, and tend to get at least a few things done from the artists I meet at them. And, heck, even besides that, I have a propensity to just up and commission people I know online for an occasional piece.
Commissioned artwork, at least in this volume and influx, is a little new to me, and I've kind of noticed that my profile page is getting pretty heavy with them... to the point where a quick glace at my userpage might have one believe that I don't do my own original artwork. (The irony being the reason I haven't posted anything of my own recently has been because I'm working on some private commissions myself :P)
Of course, I love the work that has been done for me, and I especially appreciate the gift art I get, and want to show it off and show the artists and friends who've done these things some love they rightfully deserve... but given the heavy influx of it I've been getting lately, I've been wondering if, rather than simply posting this stuff as it comes in, I should try to classify them in some way to keep them separate from my own art. I have seen some people on this site who keep two profiles... one for their own original art, and another for their gift art and art that they've had commissioned. Or some who put them in their scraps folder to keep them separated.
So, my question to you is... should I? As the viewer, when browsing someone's gallery, do you prefer to have original art and other's art posted in some manner that separates them, or is it less complicated for you if everything's in one gallery, and one just keep posting them as they come in?

Personally, it's getting annoying to see that some of my watchees are creating second accounts for work that isn't theirs. Fur Affinity really needs that folder implement.
But yeah, in the end, I just want to keep things coherent, and uncomplicated. Thanks. :3
But I can see the point of having a seperate account for it if you get a /large/ amount or if you try to use your own account for 'business' of your own commissions. It entirely becomes your own choice, you have to make your own priorities. ^^;
Thanks for the input! <3
PANCAKES!!
I dunno, I was thinking maybe I ought to just post all commissions/gift art under scraps, but now, given the further response I've been getting, I dunno... Everyone seems jim dandy with it, so maybe I'm worrying for nothing... Keeping options open...
that being said... Kimahri.
*Staring at you, FA!*
Thanks! :3
Thanks for the input! :3
... of course, the whole flaw in that plan is that it relies on me having a consistent work ethic. xD
Whatever you decide I'm sure will be good, but it seems like not only does no one want you to make the second account or even do anything differently, no one thinks you need to either. So you have nothing to worry about. ^_^
The people who care about your original style will go to DA
The people who want porn and/or art to reflect their personal vanities and fantasies
will come here.
But the thing wasn't that I felt like I couldn't post art that's personal to me here on FA. Hell, my art profile on this site is probably my most personal one I use on any site, as I never really felt like "personal" art couldn't be "good"/"entertaining" art that can attract interest in addition to the stuff that's porny or fetishy. I was just moreso concerned with whether or not most people liked seeing the artist's original art more prominently displayed in their gallery as opposed to a mix of things.
Thanks for the input, though... this has served to remind me that there's other art sites out there that I've been neglecting and should dust off to show stuff in, too. :3
Snark aside, I don't care as long where commissions go as everything is clearly labeled. Usually it's not hard to tell.
Still, thanks. :3 If just labeling them properly is all the people out there want, then that saves me the trouble of managing another account... Which is good news for my lazy-assed nature. XP
