Hey there, man. I realize I don't really know you and I can't pretend to know what it's like to go through this kind of thing. Nonetheless, you have my every sympathy. Here's hoping things work out okay no matter how bad they are now.

Mike, sadly I'm not really a friend and I was going to link the song "Disconnect the Dots" by Smash Mouth, however for the life of me I can't find a quality version of it anywhere. But know I do have a little bit of an idea of what you're going through. I've left a long term relationship myself, and it's a bit rough when it's lasted a long time because as you know the world has changed while we were away in our little worlds with our partners. I also feel for your run of misfortune of late and hope you can persevere through the slump for the upswing, as Winston Churchill said: "If you're going through hell, keep going."
