I honestly didn't know tonsillitis could cause excruciating throbbing pain on the side of the head. This was something new to me and I can honestly say it rather scared me. It felt as if I was being hit repeatedly with a bat to the side of the head. Unable to bear the pain anymore, my mate, Leyla, drove me to the hospital ER reception area where they gave me some Vicodin and Tylonal for the pain. Also took some Motrin to tune down the fever I was having. After being discharged after laying in bed for about 2 hours, I was prescribed Ibuprofen and Amoxacillin, which I took today and has seriously managed to tone down the pain levels. I haven't felt this kind of pain since I dislocated my elbow with a slight fracture when I was 5 or 6 years old. Thankfully as I am writing this the pain is 96% gone and by the end of tomorrow I should be rid of this stupid infection in my tonsils. Strange thing is I've never had tonsillitis having this kind of effect on me. Like I said, this is something new to me and I might have to deal with this in the future... I seriously hope not. THAT WAS FUCKING SCARY SHIT! >.<
