So I do alot of lurking, and as such, I find a bunch of old conversations between people in which both sides were completes jerks and or morons to each other and the general public. The most recent one is from an artist I will not name, but she is of an African American heritage. Now, while I admit, she did nothing wrong in setting another commenter straight, but poking at his Ebonics was not cool.

I mean shit, it's jus' da way we speak aight? Ain't like it's doin' anything to anybody ya feel me? What, just cuz I don't use words I found outta a thesaurus I ain't as smart or as much of a person as you? Dat ain't right, you don't just judge people cuz of how they speak, sometimes its jus' how they like to talk, ya feelin' me? How'd ya like it if I made fun of yo' big words n'stuff? Called ya a punk-ass nerd like them otha' kids did back in da day? Ain't right, ain't neva' gonna be right.

Was I any different fro speaking like that? No. So cool your jets people, and stop getting on any race for acting stereotypical, yes, I do love hip-hop and fried chicken, yes, I do enjoy putting any edible object into a taco, yes, I DO own a sombrero, it's who we are, no one should get on our cases about it.
