Yeah but its suppose to be Wesker thats immune to all viruses.
I can accept they made a new character.I can accept she's a weapon.But they god modded her with psychic powers.Thats bullshit.
Its like Doctor Who.They eliminated Daleks from being future potential threats by erasing their memories.
It makes it worse to me that it was a fanfic cause that means someone knows the story but doesn't give a fuck about it.

I know I'm raging more than I should but its like...I grew up with this series and they're just raping my childhood now.

its okay when i saw them I cried and died inside I was pissed, but then i played Zero and veronica and felt better

some scenes were K and all but bleh ._.
but most parts of it was like...it makes NO SENSE!

I LOVE resident evil.But when it got to the scenes with the mutated monsters or the big badasses of the game.It's like they spiderman 3'd it by killing them off too quickly.

I personally enjoyed the movies!

What a lot of people need to remember is that the movies and the games are completely separate. The games have their own universe, the movies have THEIR own universe. While, yes Alice has abilities that could be considered Mary-Sue, I don't see anyone calling Wesker a Marty-Stu for having basically the same (And better) abilities.

I actually got introduced to Resident Evil through the movies.

in the game Wesker actually can die.He doesn't have psychic abilities.The only thing he did have was super strength and speed as well as immunities.Alice had the ability to set off a huge explosion with just her mind.That's BS to me.She also has the ability to kill monsters that dont die with headshots with 1 hit.Wesker couldn't even kill people in 1 hit in game.
I think if you're going to base a movie on something you have to have a relevance to it.You can't make everything willy nilly cause then you're not even using the actual series.The titles might as well be different and renamed all the characters.Would have been happier with that.
Should have been called Alice in Zombie Land at this point.Cause it certainly isn't Resident Evil anymore.

He only died after being dumped into a volcano and getting two rockets to the face. I do agree with Alice's psychic bullshit being bullshit, but at least it lasted only...what, one movie? Extinction and the first 5 minutes of Afterlife...

But they did throw in a lot of references to the movies (The Redfields shooting at Wesker and all that). If anything really? I wouldn't want to watch the games 100% accurately anyways. We'd already know what was coming and that'd ruin the suspense of the movies.

Yeah thats true...If the movies did throw in too much of the game it would just ruin the game for new players.But what I was really hoping when they introduced a new character is to atleast fit it in the actual storyline somehow.Like in the Outbreak game.It was about these other survivors that weren't in the original but it was in the background of it all.Like in the part of RE2 when Leon and Claire are about to destroy the lab the guys are still down there when the alarm goes off and all the doors that are shut down for leon they are on the otherside and dont even know he was there.

I want something like that.Something that makes sense to the origin.But throwing in the redfields shooting at wesker isn't really a good reference to the game.Cause thats just obvious.Anyone would shoot at Wesker.As for the rocket thing...I can understand.Wesker did mutate like a boss and just like the licker in the movie he isn't going to just go down from a huge explosion.The new RE games I'll admit are pretty stupid.But the original 4 and zero and Veronica are legit.Wesker was an ominous villain in those.He didn't really appear in person.But he'd fuck with you throughout the game behind the scenes.They ruined the BEST games for me.Not the new ones.I dont give a fuck if they ruin the new storyline but the old ones.Like the mansion.I didnt like the way they went about it.As a fan I wanted to see all the baddies that you learned to fear.Like the swamp monsters or the giant snakes that infested the entire house.Or the eerie stories that befell the residents.The mansion was the scariest place ever in RE1.I wanted more from it.Instead they invested in the underground base more.Not to mention the zombies were too...well...crazy.Like the slow encounters with them as they snuck up on enemies is what attracted the fear from them as the other mutants inspired the intensities around the corner of epic fights.I do agree.If I never played the game it would be a pretty alright movie.Aside from the actor that plays Alice the idea of her is alright but nothing explains the psychic powers.Like her strength and senses seem legit but the virus never gave anyone else these abilities and they never appeared in game.

Again, you have to remember that the movies are 100% different from the games. That, and what people usually want are fast-action zombie flicks.

And even then, I really like the new games.
