Hello, Bonjour.
I sincerely doubt anyone will actually have need to read this journal considering I have no watchers, but my hope is to change such things. I would like to formally introduce myself as I finally begin to bring this account online. I set up this account some months ago as you can probably tell and it has been inactive since. I've only been using it to watch a small number of artists and, as you can see, have not uploaded anything since the creation of the account. I'm only now finding some appropriate time to go ahead and
My name is PickUpThatCan [cue fanfare], but if you'd like you can refer to me as PickUp or Pick if it makes it a bit easier for you. No need to capitalize all the words in my name. I am a writer and as such, I will be submitting primarily literature to the site, but I may be able to upload scraps, guest artwork and other types of material later on.
It may do well to briefly mention a bit about myself. I've lived a greater part of my life in the United States but have also lived in Canada and parts of the United Kingdom for small amounts of time. I'm currently in college studying in the field of history. I currently live in the city, though I have learned to appreciate life in less urban areas, too. I enjoy the sport of hockey, cold beer, cult films, good books and warm socks. As such, you may see many of these things make appearances, both broad or subtle in my work.
This journal serves primarily as a notice that I may be posting content to the site very soon and to welcome those of you that wish to stop by, watch or just chat for a bit. I look forward to meeting you all, viewing your work, reading your stories and, hopefully, entertain you with some of mine. Wish me luck!
