Footage from MFF
If you want, you may call me Mangy, but pronounce the 'G'!
Yeah.. sorry, this a bit late. but better late than never... in case any of you haven't seen this stuff yet.
This was my first year at MFF. I definitely had good days. And also had some blah days where I was just out of enthusiasm and physical energy. Honestly a big part of it had to do with the fact that I couldn't enjoy stuff because I didn't have Dashel around to enjoy it with me. Like every other moment was like, man he would love this, or wish he was here to make this just a little better.
I must say it now, its looking like a 10% chance I'll even want to go to FWA if I can manage it.
BUT WE ARE GOING TO OUR FIRST FURTHER CONFUSION!!
uhhh... oh yeah back to MFF.
So the stuff that was awesome. Dancer Furs have truly become such a strong family. Up to this point I am so grateful we 'seem' to get along so well and have very very low incidents of drama. The dance competition was such a big moment in where this thing is going. Participating this time I was honestly feeling a little blown out of the ranks, as in the talent we have now is far beyond my own. But then I also got some really nice comments from several of these people dancing right beside me. Telling me how they've really looked up the dedication myself and some of the other 'classics' have put into these shows.
So I'm no where near done yet. I'm coming up with new tricks up my sleeve!
So onto the videos.
First some stuff from Floor Wars. (If anyone else has footage from the other rounds I was in I'd really love to see it) Its great to get the chance to bring out some of the odd stuff I've only played with in the mirror. (I'm on the left)
And my spot at the Dance Comp. Love this angle. Thanks

I was winging this 100% Just had too much going on to plan out choreo for this con. Decided I'd really bring out MonsteRoo's character and throw my body around to MIA's Afro-Punk style. The song is called World Town if you're interested.

FA+

Even though I did terrible in it.
I feel bad I couldn't give you a proper battle, since I couldn't really do animation, glitching, and robotics really to the music selection during our rounds :P
But you sir killed it, I'd love to battle you again to better music so I can give you a proper battle.
Honestly, even though I might placing in competitions ahead of you and you feel that a lot of people are surpassing you in skill, I still never forget that it was watching guys like you that got me doing these competitions in the first place. What you do inspires so many people - I'm proud to say I'm one of them.
And don't even get me started on Floor Wars. You KILLED everything in your path, up until the finals where you still had such a jaw-dropping battle with Ikato. No one was expecting you to pull off the stuff that you did but HOLY SHIT, I still can't believe what you did. Honestly, such a fierce Mongoose prince.
I absolutely cannot wait to see you again, you Mang-nificent person. It's gonna be ALL THE DANCERLUV
I've always said you're a fantastic contributor and role model fur the dancer furs. The events you've taken initiative to get rolling have been real successful. I have big respect for you and am so happy to know ya. Keep on giving it your all and drop in on me if you ever want a hand with something are have any plans cooked up. I'd probably be more than happy to throw in my support and efforts.
Tons of love!
Hey you earned it. You've got slick moves that look like you know where you want to put your body.
Trying to work on getting a bit more pattern and reason to some of my moves like yours appear.
I love to get into my unique rhythms but later into a performance I'd want to try to mold and evolve that into choreo and stylized stuff as if my dance set is a puzzle coming together in the end.
These opportunities to dance with one another are such a wonderful chance to grow, bond, and improve... our everything.
I absolutely loved the set you and Atsu came up with. It was a dream come true to see that come together at an American convention, I was afraid the only people capable of such routines were Kiyo and Zakari from the UK.
Keep being awesome Ikato.
