Unfortunately, it is not outright illegal in most U.S. states. There has been some progress in pursuing court cases in some states which do have laws against it, using seminal DNA as evidence, but these cases are very difficult to prosecute and get a conviction. The best prevention, for now, is education.

What in the... fucking why? Whether or not the person doing this bullshit has any sort of STD to spread, what do they possibly stand to gain?

Best I can figure is that they're sociopaths. I read a few of the twitter group's posts, and it's pretty sickening.

I've heard of this before. Some genuinely scary shit...especially for a single, gay, sexually active male like myself! And there's not much out there can WILL genuinely scare me, but these people do. I shudder to think the beating that will ensue if I ever caught someone trying to pull that shit with me.

While I'm someone who firmly believes "Common sense often gets in the way of a good time"....these actions are completely and utterly unacceptable, and there ought to be much stiffer laws and punishments for people like that. It's rape at the very least, and murder at the very worst. Either way, people knowingly abusing their rights to have functioning genitals should perhaps have that privilege taken away.....slowly...and with a salt covered cheese grater, if you ask me
