What's been up with me and the upcoming FC

Hello everyone!
Just thought I should write a quick journal explaining where I am and why it seems like I've disappeared. Over the last few months I've been working hard at my career and many side projects on the side in the pursuit of becoming a well recognized and renowned game designer. With the dream of creating a memorable game that'll last through a decade or more. This comes at the cost of an average 11 hours of work a day (some of it unpaid) and many mornings fueled by coffee alone. Currently things are going as planned though, my friend just got hired at EA as a big time producer (I nearly exploded when I heard what his salary is), another one of my friends has become a fully registered Software Engineer and is working as one, and I'm well on my way to being promoted to a Lead Designer, since East Side Games just took extreme interest in one of my prototypes. Once we've had a little more experience, many of us will come back together and build something amazing. That's the big plan at least! As for the little plan...
I've literally drawn nothing dragon oriented in the last few months, it's depressing :/ but I also don't have a tablet atm, however I'm going to buy a Cintiq from work once I'm back from holidays, and actually draw something sexy again! That should be exciting. I'm trying to plan going to FC as well and I really want to go, so I can meet a few peeps (You know who you are <3) buuuut lack of funds sucks and not being paid for a whole two weeks before the event also sucks. Who know, perhaps I'll pull it off, I might just end up driving down there *Shrug*
Either way, thanks for reading and hopefully I'll be back to updating my gallery soon! :3

I still have the GCD (Game Concept Documentation) of one i have designed myself around. But the lack of coding graphical games - aka. C/C++/C# - has put a big stop-mark on my road. I can only do things like PHP and HTML and all that, that is related to websites and server administration. however, i am going to try and learn game-engeneering...although I know that before I should do that, I should buy me a big packet of aspirine XD
What kinda games do you design, and "how" do you design them? Graphic designs, or story designs - im just veeery curios :3!
And, awwww its no problem that you havent drawn anything in a while...sometimes one needs to set something else on hold to get something else in life done. And the more exciting it is to come back to that old activity just to find out how much one has missed it and enjoy it once again :3 Im gonna keep a tight eye on you hon ;)
Also, i know im quite late inr esponding to the journal, but i have saved this journal into a big list of other journals i want to reply to...but eye surgeries and hospitals and school and all that just made me go @.@ and so i set some thigns on hold....yeah o.o;
