lol in seattle we get maaaybe and inch of snow at any time my hometown on the other hand bout 3 to 4 feet is light snow. How bout you do you get any snow?

*giggles* in South Australia its usually around 35-40 degrees celcius for christmas (summer). But we still deck out everything with santas and snowmen. There is snow in parts of Australia, but our seasons are opposite yours.

I visited Seattle a couple of years ago. I loved the tower (cause its on Greys Anatomy) and the SciFi and music museum.

Still no snow up here in the Lower Mainland. Just a bunch of "Holy FUCK it's goddamn cold out" mixed with "Holy FUCK it's goddamn raining out", but I'm seeing snow on the higher elevations. Damn nature, you scary!

I don't have plans, other than to keep shopping simple, and I use the holidays as an advantage to get lights that use up less power and still generate about as much light. Although I'm looking for someone willing to do a festive conbadge for me...

There are plenty of examples around FA, as many artists offer conbadges before, during, after, and in between conventions. Usually an inked badge normally goes at $10, colour at $20-$25, depending on complexity. Prices vary from artist to artist, so my suggestion is to look around FA for some examples. :3

Oh, that. For supplies and dimensions, start with the basic size badge (you can find these in OfficeMax, Staples, etc.) first and work your way there. It's a good way to get started for badge sizes. Materials, depending on the medium you use, the best suggestion would be to find some bleed-proof paper/card if you intend to use markers.

And that's for traditional on-paper badges.

You don't have to laminate them. If the badges you buy from a store come with badge holders, you can just slip them in there.
