You get paid for being on jury duty? We get compensation for public transport to and from the court and employers can claim the costs of loosing an employer, but I know my jury duty I only got about $12 for my 4 days.

I'm not certain of the complete list of benefits, but a customer had mentioned that they were paid for food, travel, and a wage for being on a Jury. I think County juries don't get as many benefits as Federal/State juries.

I would've been nice to have gotten an influx of money so I can get a high-end laptop to use when I'm away from my desktop.
