again, I don't any experience with the Wii U but I do have alot of experience with wii :) I don't think that a first person shooter would be a good idea for a wii or a wii u

Personally, I think the new gamepad is great for FPS.

to be honest, it all depends on what kind of games you prefer,

if you like alot of first person shooters (along with online action) and macho man games, I would recomend Xbox or Xbox360

If you prefer some of the older games and rp type games, (along with a MASSIVE MULTI-MEDIA OPPORTUNITIES from netflix to pandora and etc. I was able to cancel cable because of it) then I would recomend a PS3 (especially a Ps3 that plays ps2 games)

I don't know much about the wii u but it really doesn't look very good. when a commercial for a new console ONLY ever shows ONE GAME then it's a bad sign, the screen for it looks pretty glitchy, and the new controler gives it the feel of something you could just as easily do if you hooked up a tablet to a tv wirelessly...
