AC Art Show: HELP! D:

I'll have stuff in the AC art show for the first time this year. Problem is, I'm totally fucking lost. I don't know what I'm doing. I know I need to mat/frame everything, no glass, but as far as specifics....
I suppose what I really need to know is how to do this so that it looks nice, but AS CHEAPLY AS POSSIBLE. I'm really short on funds and I can't afford to have fancy mats pro cut, or buy nice frames for everything (especially since one piece is 11" x 14").
Any advice/ideas? <:|

I snark because it's fun, but I try not to get -too- involved where I start taking the drama personally and such. I think if it ever got to that point I'd probably ragequit the snark comms =P
I'm a member of so many communities I have filters for them =P So only my friends end up on my friends page, and I have filters for each category of communities. :)
