I don't know why but not having my car is making me sad. i did get new parts for her so hopefuly she'll last untill i get the jimmy running. i got new shifter bushings, rear strut, whole exhaust system, tie rod, bearing, heater controls, battery terminals, lights and she didn't like that. hehe blew out a brake line so now i'm driving my moms ghetto gas drinking v8 explorer. i want my 5 speed gas sipping little car. im thinking of returboing her. but idk.

I know the feeling, a real bummer. Hope you get if fixed soon, definitely sounds like it. Also a turbo sounds awesome! Would love to turbo mine but I don't have the money.

thank you. i hope i can get it fixed. im dreading bleeding the brakes. idk if the bleeder screws are rusted shut. hehe. same here, i might piece together a turbo kit or buy a used one on line.

Yeah its always a pain when those things become seized up. A little penetrating oil and the closed end of a wrench usually do the trick for me. It looks like you know what your doing though. Ill keep my eyes peeled to see how it goes, repairs and the possible turbo. Definitely sounds cool.

hehe. my high skool teacher uses a torch or a air gun to vibrate them loose, im gonna spray a lill pb blaster on it then a lill heat. ill post if i get her fixed, im out of the state now untill xmas brake. hehe. i found a turbo off a v8 chevy at the junk yard but idk if i should get it or if itll work on my car.

I never heard of using an air gun, either way sounds like a plan. I wonder how big that V8 turbo is. Might have a lot of turbo lag but once spooled have TONS of boost! LOL

yah. u just use the gun on the side next to the screw and he said the vibration would make it come loose but i like useing heat. hehe, i might take a look at the turbo again, worst case i can resell it or build a v8 and put it on it.
