I can most certainly understand this decision. You may be right about projecting your own feelings onto Fiachra, but like you said; that's what your characters are for, to explore things you wonder and feel yourself =^_^=

It does also give rise to some interesting ideas... like perhaps a picture that has bunnies like Niamh and Fiachra and any other bunny girls you may have hopping around, as well as my purple Sherry, and Monica, perhaps Marion if I decide to refurbish her, Autumn the winged one, and the blue and pink one I adopted from Iko the other day... one bit bunny group picture! =^_^=

I'm glad to know you understand. It's not something I'd planned, and I'm afraid it will disappoint some people, but it's just the direction I feel I have to take her in now. Besides, aside from exploring my personal feelings, I think it would be interesting to do a serious exploration of this sort of transformation for a change. Most of the time, when a character changes sex like this, it's treated as a joke, but I think it could lend itself to some really interesting ideas.

And a big group picture of bunny girls would be pretty neat, too. I've already been toying with the idea of getting Fiachra drawn together with Megan and Niamh, and as I've always said, there's no such thing as too many rabbits!

Yes, I absolutely know what you mean. I was actually thinking that Fiachra's change to a female would lend itself to a very interesting story you could possibly write about that. And as for disappointsing some people; that's something I wouldn't worry about too much. After all, no matter how hard you try, you can never please everyone, so it's always best to do just what you feel is best and what you personally are the most comfortable with =^_^=

Hee, when thinking about it more in-depth, it almost seems as if I have more bunny girls than you do... although I hardly think that would be the case, knowing you =~.^= After checking, though, I do know I have a few more than I originally thought, as I also still have a sunnybunny I adopted a long time ago that I never used yet, so I'll definitely need to get to do something with her soon! And having a big group picture of both our bunnies together would undoubtedly look awesome! After all, like you indeed always said; there's never too many rabbits! =~.^=

Given the things she gets up to, she might just end up both one day, too! But I'm glad you're okay with it. You were one of the ones I was a bit concerned about, since I know how much you liked Fiachra as a boy.

She always looks so happy to be a girl. A nice smile goes a long way.
I think she makes a beautiful lady and it will be good for you on a personal level to play out that story.

She really does. As I've mentioned to a few other people, it was kind of surprising how natural it feels for Fiachra to embrace this change, given how very masculine she was as a boy. But the more I played with the idea, the more it just seemed to fit. So yes, I think it's a good change, and I'm glad that you do, too.

I hope not. I know there were quite a few people who were awfully fond of Fiachra as he was, and that's a big part of why I've kept the option for her to switch back to being male in certain circumstances. But you're right. It does sort of come down to what I want, and what I feel works best for the character, and for me, and I think this is it. Like I said, Fiachra is not and never will be "me", but she is helpful for exploring a few thoughts here and there. Plus, as I mentioned to Zinzi, most of the time when you see transformations like this in furry art, it's treated as a joke and/or the character spends all their time frantically searching for a way to change back. So I thought it would be interesting to try to take it somewhat seriously for a change.

I'm not going to go back and change Fiachra to female in any of my previous stories, no. The idea here isn't to change things so that Fiachra has always been female, and I don't want to disavow her past. As for future stories, though, I haven't quite decided. I think it might actually be kind of interesting to try to write a story around her transformation, and to actually show how her family and neighbors react to it. There is, of course, no doubt that those she's closest to will accept her, and I imagine this is particularly true of Ciara and Niamh. But I think other people might not be so accepting and it might be worth exploring what happens. The locket she wears is part of her canon story, after all, and I've always thought that just because there's no such thing as wizards in her world, that doesn't necessarily mean magic is completely missing. But who knows? This is all just speculative at this point.

Well, you know I like Fiachra pretty much equally both ways. If I had to choose one or the other though, she would definitely be female.

With all the does and other ladies Fiachra was with as a male, there's bound to be at least one child in there somewhere. Wouldn't you say?

Ah, you were someone I actually kind of wondered about. Though I'd kind of half guessed that you might actually like Fiachra better as a doe. I'm glad that you do, too, and I know she certainly would be.

Liane is about 90% lesbian actually. Remember....she has two female mates. She likes men occasionally...but they have to be VERY special men, like Fiachra. Fiachra being female makes her at least 20% cooler so far as Liane is concerned.

Oh sure, I'd gathered that Liane vastly preferred girls. Megan's much the same, actually. If I wasn't dating Eliki, you'd probably never see her with a male at all. But I know, too, that sometimes you can be attracted to someone for who they are, and that it can fade if they change in a significant way. So while I was pretty sure that you'd like Fiachra as a girl, if not prefer her that way, I did wonder how it might change your perception of her. Especially since we had planned for them to have that child together. But I am glad to know you, and Liane, still like her.

As for the surprise, I was mostly thinking of the child you and I had talked about. But, cat out of the bag, I'm also seriously considering giving Fiachra a child with her very first girlfriend as well. I may even let her bear a child at some point, too.

Aha....maybe gonna be a daddy twice huh? Not too surprising. ;3 I've already told Dani and a couple others that Liane was pregnant, but I didn't say by whom and they didn't ask.

I know, right? The only surprise is that Fiachra only has the two kids! With all the running around she did as a buck, she should be up to her neck in progeny.

Ah, okay. I don't mind letting people know in the least, as you know I'm very proud and honored that they will be having a kid together. But since I hadn't seen you say anything, I wasn't sure if you wanted to keep it quiet until the big reveal or not. That's all.
