My dad was driving us down the highway during the first real snow of the year. Not all the roads have been treated quite yet (the snow on the road is gliding around with the wind like a fine powder). Suddenly, the car ahead of us one lane to the left tries to switch into our lane. And that's when all hell breaks loose. He didn't expect the icy ness and started to spin halfway between the lanes. He manages to do two full spins before stopping in the small median of an exit. We almost started to slide as well trying to avoid slamming into him. So now we are creeping down the highway at a leisurely 35 mph.
