One suggestion ye might consider is somethin the Capn' loves in his classic comics.
Ye can include lore info pages between selections! Instead of pure adverts like now, series like the Archie Sonic comics an early Marvel productions had maps, family trees, pin-up pictures, timelines, re-caps an all sorts.
Some comics had mini-coms that detailed important moments in the mythos.
So some time maybe ifn yer in the mood, try postin a page of Lone Candle outside of story continuity which jus expands upon the universe. Ifn yer feelin really classic try disguisin the page as somethin authentic from the world itself. The Capn' used to love the letters from characters, journals about the story, old stained lookin maps fer authenticity, an other things like official lookin documents and even collected scraps of info interspersed with 'artifacts' ^^

Now that's not a bad idea...

I know DMFA sometimes has "letters from the readers" segments where questions are answered, often in an amusing or at least informative way (sometimes really informative, in the wall of text sense). They let people get an idea of how the world works, while not revealing too many details, and often keep the fans reading. After all, she has a great story going, and lots of fun characters, and you know she'll answer more questions sooner or later.

Try it out sometime. It may prove useful.

I'm not sure if there's much I could add Capnsqueaks and Banditringtail already gave some good suggestions.

Maybe add among the suggestions a drawn page of old books of things like plants, animals and other things. Not everything has to be done in panel comic style. But drawing a picture of an old text with information from time to time would be cool.

I wonder if the history of flight is as interesting as ours?
