I've been in Colorado when I was five and moved from there when I was eight. Believe me, I know what it's like in Colorado, even its town of Colorado Springs. There were a lot of snow, and in the sunlight, the snow wouldn't go away. But during one of those snow days, I saw a white wolf behind my backyard. It was more afraid of me more than I was of it.

Wolves in Colo are pretty rare to come across

Yup, mostly 'cause folks were dumb back in the day & killed a lot of them off when they settled into Colo, the people settling that is, not the wolves

As an animals lover, what these hunters or poachers did was cruel. Why do I have the feeling people did want every animal extinct? Maybe they relied too much on Survival of the Fittest. It's crazy.

Competition for food or resources or simply because the wolves were in the way, we are learning that what we did back then was a big mistake as nature was thrown out of whack by what we did back then....

Sad thing is we're doing it again after reintroducing wolves back into the state, guess people won't learn from the mistakes of the past, ever, same thing is going on elsewhere were wolves have been brought back....
