I think a good place to start in terms of gathering viewer intel is ask what people so far like the most about it. I personally like it best when there is a sense of exploration and developing of a story. I feel its weakest when it doesn't seem to be moving towards a goal or showing us something new and interesting. I think the comics greatest strength is a world building idea, so expanding those aspects is most interesting to me. I feel like in the last four comics, nothing has gone anywhere. This is especially relevant when we were recently introduced to such ideas as Epicena as an antagonist, with a goon squad, the idea of the MCP, this weird dream where Gayle is imagining himself as Kaz, and its been about 15 comics since anything related to being at 'work' for them to find sucks.

I really am going to take this advice to heart, or at least, I hope to. I think there's been a lot of setup in this chapter that I feel I had to do, but at the same time, it kinda has that feeling of the weekend (not wanting to get back to work but knowing you have to).

There's something I must get to before the chapter ends, but I'm really going to cut some stuff down and proceed to the next chapter. I had some more ideas, but I feel like now I have the freedom to put them in the Bonus comic section instead. Just forgive the actual holiday filler that's going up next week, at least ;)

Basically, I keep getting a taste of neat stuff, but we then keep moving on to different stuff. Its like being in a megamart and taking all the free samples, but not walking out with a meal.

Or a better (but more horrible) comparison...its like Naruto filler episodes. We are just waiting for the good stuff.

I think you have created a very interesting a detailed world. It is an interesting approach you took to explain the world as the story goes on. I really appreciate the effort you have put into creating your world and its rules. The characters could use some better development though. There are moments where you see glimpses of back story and depth, but it isn't brought back. For example, there is a spot where Gayle tells a story about Terra's past that has not been brought at all. So far a lot of the story has focused on Gayle, and he has had least development or depth in my opinion. If the story is supposed to be long, having a good story and fleshed out characters helps keep viewers interested. The plot seems to have fizzled how in recent pages. It's been taking a while for something of consequence to happen. I can see a lot of potention in this vivid and imaginative world. This is a fun comic, and I hope you continue with it and that your audience grows. I hope my two cents made sense.

The comments do make sense, and I thank you for your thoughts. I guess the challenge I need to face is how to make something "of consequence" happen with this setup that revolves around monsters and not trying to become food for said monsters.

I can guarantee the character's backstories will be filled out a bit more, but I'd also like to avoid going "full dark and edgy" anytime soon (or ever). Gayle's is relatively simple, and the comic is more about following them in the now, but I acknowledge there's room to improve how I handle them as characters.
