It's been kind of rare lately that I've truly felt my cubby self, but tonight is one of those times, and unfortunately not in a good way. Grown-up me has a worldly, cynical streak and is hardly shocked by anything anymore.

But this... this just makes me want to cry out HOW CAN ANYONE BE SO MEAN?!?!?!?

Big brother tells me his stepdad had the right to do what he did but right now I just can't accept that. And TBH I'm really scared stepdad's going to come back and take all the money we're sending her now before she can get it. Big bro says stepdad wouldn't do THAT but after what he's already done I don't know how he can be so sure.

Anyway I've given some $ of course but I'm holding some in reserve until we know for sure Mrs. Bun has control of the accounts.

I suppose relative to the awfulness in Newtown this is a much smaller thing, but the difference here is that it has hit personally. I thought I felt sick before, but now...!
