So I tried to boot dban off of a usb drive to wipe my laptops HD unfortunately my usb is a piece of crap and somewhere along the line it broke windows 8 (which oddly enough was the main reason I was wiping the HD)
right now I can't boot from my dvd drive for whatever reason and I need to know how to set it up in the "add new boot option" in the setup utility, I just have no idea what to put for the "path for boot option"

path for boot is where the motherboard is trying to find where youve saved the operating system to boot from so it can be a harddrive, disk drive or usb, etc

yes, and I'm trying to boot from a dvd however my computer isn't giving me that option
