LOL< think this way. Dogs are just like people. Certain foods are worse then others. Likewise, somedogs are more prone then others are. My female rotweiler gets tthe farts after just about EVERYTHING unless it's from strict diet. While the Male Rotweiler doesn't seem to have tat problem at all, except from very certain foods.

My mom decided that Purina Lamb and Rice was the best choice as they digested it better, had healthy coats, and only had bad gas on occasion. Usually when someone gave them people food.

I'm sure they are nice dogs. But from a health point of view, they are starting out with a lot of handicaps. Bunch of inbreeding genetic issues, and they are chronically ill from colds and tolerate cold weather very poorly. Figure lots of vet bills if you have one in your life.

generally, one is way better off getting some mutt from the local animal shelter.

My brothers pug seems to be having a very happy life :)
