Well we are having Christmas and Christmas dinner at my house which, depending on how the evening goes, i may end up being mad and staying in my room the time. Im not a particularly fond kinda person with my family >.>

I'm sorry that things can get tense for you. Hopefully, things will turn out well. *hugs* Of my relatives, I only keep up with my mother, both siblings, and their families. We all live in or around Billings and see each other fairly regularly anyway, so Christmas is just a "nice" day and not exactly a big deal.

same here but i unfortunately have the annoying cousins coming to my house that think it is fun/nice to break/steal my property or consistently be around me when i wanna be alone. i have a big family and so after like 2 or 3 hours ill take a 10-20 min break to escape the chaos. >> but it is nice i just don't like it for hours upon hours

Hopefully they remember last years lesson i gave them for Christmas *grins evily* One was invading my boundaries all day and the later wouldn't stop touching my feet, and i hate my feet touched D:, so when i asked him to stop and warned him and he did it again, my heel politely met his face then returned again. He got a hopsital visit for Christmas and a broken nose :D and that is why my family was mad at me for a bit that day. Told my mom it'll happen again if he does the same thing this year and she told me to play nice >.>

I'm not big on breaking noses, but hopefully the lesson was learned.

im not a fan either but it was the same cousin annoying me all day (the family spends 12 in the afternoon to 12 midnight together on christmas) and i tried not to but..*shrugs* and i felt guilty but same time felt he deserved it. Specially since he annoys me every time i see him. He does it on purpose and admits it :P

I know people like that.

Christmas Eve at like 11:30PM is when we unwrap all our presents, my family is impatient.

But Christmas I'll be seeing Django Unchained and lazying the day away.

I remember hounding my mom as a kid to let us open our presents on Christmas Eve. It worked sometimes. Nowadays, I'm never really excited about presents. I went years training people I know to not bother with birthday or Christmas presents for me. I still never ask for or expect anything from people I know.

Django, I hope you enjoy it. I may go see The Hobbit today with friends. Les Miserables may be next if I my Mom wants to see it on my dime.

I have a bonus dog for a few days. My sister and her husband went to Hysham for Christmas and left their dog. I have no idea what she is, but she's about Husky-size, is pretty long-haired, and tan in color with some black higlights.

Cottage? Sounds like an adventure.

I'll start at my house than move over to my grandparents were we will have a huge christmas dinner and for the first time have friends over (they are from florida and they have no family here) and my uncle won't come as he was told to not go out as he is very sick. Other than that we hope for the snowstorm down south to work it's way north to get us more snow for tommorow.

That's cool to be taking in friends for Christmas. If you enjoy the holiday, it really sucks being alone. Hope your uncle gets better soon. We have a dusting of snow so far today. It's just barely snowing, but slow and steady wins the race sometimes.

yeah. We got a trace of snow but its almost 3-4 days old now and melts some more.

I'm spending Christmas with my mom in Arizona, then I am traveling back to my homeland of Ohio to visit some friends from high school. Nothing hugely special, just glad to be done with school for a few weeks

I don't think you'll have border patrol problems in Ohio. :P Hopping around the country for friends and family sounds special enough for me. Have a holly jolly time.

I'm lucky to live about 12 miles from my brother. The commute is so easy. It has snowed about

I just ate dinner with all the family that lives near me, so it was nice :) really great food and great people. So overall, it was a good night! And I'm totally pumped to be waking up tomorrow morning! PRESENTS!!!

Saw my dad the night before and my mom and sisters on christmas itself, the latter of which was much better. Funnily enough, literally as soon as the day was over the first big snowstorm in two years started coming down so I've been practically stuck inside for all of today - not that I'm complaining about finally getting real snow. :D

I had some residual Christmas this morning. I helped my Mom take my brother's kids shopping for stuff they still wanted. It was fun.
