What a horrible start to the New Year.
Toffee, my Lionhead Dwarf rabbit and only pet, has passed away aged 9 and a half. I know he was 'only a rabbit', but I still miss him. It's the first time in fifteen years that I've lost anyone important to me. I wish I could have done more with him when he was alive. He had a whole range of health problems, and he also had one leg amputated, having lost it last year in suspicious circumstances. No matter: he is at peace now.
It's over. I'm fine. We will bury him in the morning. I'm going to carry on with my work now.
Toffee - born 17 May 2003, passed away 31 December 2012.

Sorry to hear your year started so low.
Firstly I am so sorry to hear about Toffee passing away, rabbits are wonderful pets and so loving too (I have two myself) and I don't know what I'll be like when their time comes. I am glad he lived a happy life with you and your family plus don't worry about not doing enough with him because you know things get in the way, I bet he knew that you loved him because rabbits are very good at sensing love and affection!
Keep your chin up my friend and if you need to talk to someone during this time you just give me a text okay?
