backlog / policy stuff
Hey Internet,
Happy New Year!
A couple of people have asked me why I haven't posted much lately; mostly just the holidays and stuff. Now that things are getting back to normal, my plan is pretty much to have a posting party. Hopefully it won't be too irritating, haha. Not sure if I'll post everything or just pick the stuff I really like.
Also, because people ask this a lot, you are absolutely free to repost anything you get from me, whether it's giftart or a commission or a trade, whatever. I don't have a lot of hangups about my drawings getting passed around the internet, or posted on image boards, or whatever, as long as you're not trying to pass it off as yours.
Which, trust me, is a bad idea, because apparently I have hit that sweet spot in the ladder of furry popularity mediocrity where people recognize my style, even if you flip it and trace it, haha.
I also don't have a problem with people doing edits of my stuff for personal use, (I can't speak for the people who commission characrter illos, so I'm talking personal stuff here) as long as you credit yourself as the editor on the image (i.e. put "edited by yourname" on the image somewhere) so people know it's been edited. I feel like this is something people are going to do eventually anyway, and as long as it's not deliberately malicious it doesn't bother me.

Also, it's good to hear your policy about being posted on message boards and the like. There's been a few times where I've considered doing so but decided against it on general principle, so it's nice to have that clarified (so long as the person posting isn't trying to be a dick about it and claim your work as theirs, unsurprisingly).
You do have to promise to post it on Weasyl as well though when I do, as they don't allow commission posting because of their collections feature. :p
It's been interesting to see how your design flow runs.
Who knows you may post a real winner.
Then you will receive many internets.
Then there will be cake.
Can't wait for yur art X3333
