So I took my German Shepherd to the vets today cause of her having problems walking. We get in the waiting room and the doctor starts to do some tests on her legs and body then she has my shepherd walk down the hallway and she said that we need to do x-ray cause of how my shep was walking. I let the doc to the x-rays and then after the x-rays came up she looked at them. She then came back to the room to get me to look at them and she says shes not to happy to see what she sees. She says that my Shepherd has hip dysplasia and intervertbral disc disease for sure. She also said she might have degenertive myelopathy, fibrocartilaginous embolus, or cauda equina syndrome. The only way to find that out is I have to take her to a specialist to see if she has any of those problems. The doc gave me some Prednisone to start things off to see how it works cause the specialist she said is very costly.
